Seeing Some Things As They Aren't

Between our home and the grocery store is a road with a series of capped pipes.

However, this one made me laugh out loud, bringing up the memory of an old childhood story character.

While some may drive by and just see  iron pipes, I am left searching for a snowman...

Frosty, where did you go? All that's left is your hat!

Perhaps you'd like to join with me in searching out creative sights in the all too familiar scenes around us. It certainly adds spice to life!

After all these years you must be rubbing off on me because that's the first thing I thought of too, that it looks just like Frosty's hat!

You're so funny! I am LOVING your blog Jane. So glad you started it.

I didn't see snowman right away, but a funny little character nonetheless. If you draw a little facr on that pole, it would be a very cute little fellow, I think!

Lookin' for Frostie here among the Tennessee snowflakes - now, how DID he leave his hat there?

Keep blogging, jane - it is WONDERFUL to read your thoughts!

There's a bridge with one of these pipes on it along the way to my mom's house on the coast. I'm always reminded of Abe Lincoln!
